1. Tell us about Ali and Tyler.

Ali is new to L.A. and is trying to find her niche in the big city while striving to become a serious reporter. After celebrating her promotion to field reporter, she finds herself in an awkward position the morning after her first ever one night stand.

Tyler lives life for the moment. As bassist for Devil's Garden he's living the dream and never wants to be tied down...to anything. His dates tend to be a one-night only show, until he meets Ali.


2. How did you come up with the plot for this novel?

 

I love to right about strong independent woman who can't resist the one guy they never knew they wanted. I fell in love with the characters from Blissful Tragedy and wanted to continue their journey into stardom, this time while recording in L.A.


3. What's your #1 favorite thing about Ali?

She never gives up on her dreams.


4. What's your #1 favorite thing about Tyler?

He's tough as nails but has a sweet side he doesn't let show to just anyone.


5. What's something you would like your readers to know about this novel?

Lukas Graham

If you don't know who Lukas Graham is then you are two things. 1. Crazy. 2. Very crazy. Search his music right now. I'm serious. Right now. He's an amazing artist with a real story to tell through his songs.

7 Years is the song that caught my attention. My ten-year-old niece introduced me to it. The first time I heard it, I was addicted. It's so real and relatable. It's a song you want to put on repeat while you're driving, which I do.

I showed my dad the song, he's a music fanatic. He loved it! We both started to explore the music from Lukas Graham. Now, we know every single song from him... No, I'm not exaggerating. I can literally sing every single song of his.

Let's get to know Lukas Graham better.

Lukas Graham is a Danish pop and soul band. The band and lead singer's name is Lukas Graham.

Lukas is from a small town in Denmark called Christiania. On his website it says, "In this 30-block radius, there are no cars, streetlights, or police. A personal toilet and running water were considered luxuries in the early nineties. Dogs roam the cobblestone streets without leashes, and plumes of smoke billow out of the windows. However, people are happy, and they help each other out."

Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After? PREMIERE

SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS!

Warning: This blog post contains spoilers. Don't read unless you've watched Episode 1.

Yesterday was the premiere for Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After? Exciting, right? The first episode was an hour long, which wasn't long enough. I've been waiting for this show to go live for months now, as many other Ben and Lauren fans. 

Let's recap the episode.

There was A LOT of talk about Jojo... I mean, I think the episode revolved around her. Isn't this show supposed to be about Ben and Lauren? Well, Jojo was mentioned throughout the whole episode. 

Ben and Lauren were out grocery shopping when a lady stopped them and started asking questions that involved Jojo. Lauren looked so upset. Can't we all get past that? Ben picked Lauren. End of discussion.

Then we catch them lounging on their couch at home while binge watching Jojo's season of The Bachelorette. Awkward.............. As they're watching Jojo's season, all Jojo seems to talk about is Ben. Ben. Ben. Ben. And you guessed it right, Ben! I love Jojo. She's such an amazing woman and I'm so happy she found love, but she compared everything to BEN! 

Then, the producers of The Bachelor/ette invite Ben and Lauren to Jojo's After the Final Rose. Seriously? They just can't get Jojo out of their lives. Give them a break. They're trying to settle down and make a life for themselves, but they can't do that if Jojo is a topic of every conversation. I feel bad for them. I feel really bad for Lauren.

And I forgot to mention... Jojo CALLS Ben while him and Lauren are out to dinner. WTF?!? That's a huge no no! She should've called Lauren. She wants Ben and Lauren to double date with her and Jordan. Uhm, are you trying to make things awkward, Jojo? 

Lauren seemed a bit... bratty and stuck up on episode one of the show. I hope that's now how she is all the time... Maybe it's just because of all this Jojo talk. We'll find out more in episode two. Hopefully things change.

It wasn't all bad! Lauren did a prank on Ben. She put toothpaste on an Oreo and he ate it. *Laughing* And Lauren and The Twins decided to try to put in a new toilet on their own. *More Laughing* They should've never attempted that. Ben to the rescue!

Don't miss episode two on Tuesday, October 18th at 8/7c on Freeform. Ben and Lauren double date with Jojo and Jordan. This shall be very interesting............................
